Paul

The first few years of my life were spent in rural South Dakota. While there I was able to experience first hand the joys of being part of a church planter’s family. While living in S. D., my older sister, Joy, was diagnosed with liver cancer. As a result, the Lord moved my family from home missions to European missions.

It was around this time that the Holy Spirit used a missionary wife’s testimony to convict me concerning my sin. She had been a missionary for years, yet was not saved. This confronted me with my need for a Savior as well. I am grateful for God’s precious gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, .

Shortly after, I was baptized at Southview Baptist in Richfield, MN.

I remember a strong desire to share with my peers what the Lord had done. During my High School years in the Netherlands as a MK, the Lord granted me this opportunity to be a testimony for Him. The Lord used my teen years to give me practical training in church planting. These challenging years spurred me on to seek further training at Northland Baptist Bible College and later at Central Baptist Theological Seminary.

A Gaucho

Jo Anna

I was born into a missionary church planter’s family serving in Western Uruguay. I was saved when I was almost four years old. About two years later, I was baptized. At age eleven, I dedicated my life to the Lord at a Bible Camp. I was actively involved with music, the youth, and Sunday School during my teenage years in Paysandú, Uruguay.

Following High School, I attended Northland Baptist Bible College and Central Baptist Theological Seminary. I have a Bachelors degree in Home and Family Management and a Masters Degree in Biblical Counseling.

Our Family

We met each other at NBBC while serving together in Escanaba, MI at Berean Baptist Church. During Seminary, our friendship blossomed into a deeper relationship. We were married at Berean Baptist Church in Brooklyn Park, MN on May 17th, 2003. On October 1st, 2004 Felicia Noel Harmon was born.

Looking back, we see the hand of the Lord in preparing us to serve as church planters in the interior of Uruguay. This has been further strengthened by two survey trips, which have helped guide us to the specific city of Durazno.
